Why I Only Use Trusted Reborn Suppliers

Why I Only Use Trusted Reborn Suppliers

One question I’m sometimes asked is where I get my reborn kits, paints, and supplies from.

The reborn world can be confusing, especially for new collectors. Sadly, there are a lot of counterfeit kits, copied sculpts, and unreliable websites online. Because of that, I think it's important to be open about the suppliers I personally trust and use for my work.

As an artist and collector, using authentic products has always been incredibly important to me. Every reborn I create starts with a genuine kit from an authorised supplier, and I only purchase materials from businesses that have built a strong reputation within the reborn community.

Authentic Reborn Kits

Some of the suppliers I regularly use for authentic reborn kits include:

These suppliers are well known within the reborn community for selling genuine kits from recognised sculptors and manufacturers. Both MacPherson Arts & Crafts and Mott & Gido openly state that they only sell authentic kits and do not sell counterfeit or replica products.

Paints and Artist Supplies

For paints and materials, I regularly use products from Mott & Gido.

I've always found them reliable, helpful, and passionate about supporting reborn artists. They stock professional reborn paints and specialist materials, and because they're artist-led, they understand the products they sell and how they're used.

Finding suppliers you can trust makes a huge difference when creating reborns. Good quality materials help achieve realistic results, and knowing your products are genuine gives complete peace of mind.

Weighting and Filling Materials

For weighting and stuffing materials, I use Peacock Fibres.

Their products have always been reliable for creating the soft, cuddly feel that collectors expect from a reborn baby, and I've had consistently good experiences ordering from them over the years.

Why Authenticity Matters

The reborn community is built on the creativity and talent of sculptors, artists, and small businesses. Every kit begins with an artist spending countless hours sculpting a baby from scratch, so supporting genuine suppliers helps protect that work.

When I create a reborn, I want collectors to know exactly what they're receiving: an authentic kit, quality materials, and a baby that has been created with care from start to finish.

There will always be cheaper copies online, but for me, authenticity will always be worth it.

Thank you for supporting artists, sculptors, and the small businesses that help keep this wonderful hobby alive.
